One of our go-to faves for a great celebration – with a four-star-nytimes-rated dining room and an idyllic working farm right on the premises – everything here is so unbelievably special and lovely. Just 35 minutes on Metro North from Grand Central – we wish we could come up with excuses to visit this completely elegant, rural and far-out-of-the-city-feeling farm-to-table destination more often!

Well spotted, m&j – this is really one of the greatest reasons to make a culinary journey on Metro North from NYC! Delicious food, an amazing wine list and you can pet a pig, to boot! Thanks Mr. Rockefeller for inviting us all into your home (and thanks, m&j for reminding me I have to make a reservation now that the weather is getting warm!)
