Tom Hooper’s The King’s Speech was a sweet and entertaining film, but to our memory, nothing is more noteworthy in it than the unbelievable beaten up and painted wall in Lionel Logue’s office with the juxtaposition of a classic gilt setee in front of it – touché to Netty Chapman for Art Direction and Judy Farr for Set Decoration – the scenes in this room are absolutely stunning!
